So I have been playing pokemon competitively since 2006 but I stopped playing after sp pokemon such as luxray, infernape, garchomp got rolled out. But recently I got re-interested when furious fist came out. This is my first post on here so bare with me.
This deck I came upon in a Japanese nationals video but with the recent BCR rotation the decks viability as tier one was a little compromised with the loss of dark patch, sableye, but with the upcoming release of phantom forces the deck gets energy acceleration from the new hydreigon so without any more delay the list.
Pokémon: 20
Strategy:
The idea of the deck is to get out one of each hydreigon out and manipulate both abilitys. You would essentially have a dark patch to the active with (Dark advocacy) and use (Dark Trance) to move it to any of your pokemon which in my opinion is better than junk hunting losing a prize and just getting one attachment but none the less the job gets done. This deck has tons of options for pokemon due to rainbow energy but the main attacker is going to be darkrai ex using the night spear attack to take as many prizes as possible. The other pokemon are to weakness cover all other prevalent metagame threats to my deck such as fighting which brings me to my first attacker mewtwo ex. He covers threats like lucario and other mewtwo ex its also decent against yveltal or the blastoise, keldeo, black kyreum decks running around. Next is virizion/ genesect which has G-booster which gets rid of my max potion shananagans by ohko my pokemon so I have charizard ex with wing attack so with 3 dark and a muscle band I cover the fire weakness. keldeo is obviously for rush in but also in desperate situations two rainbow energy and 1 dark take care of landorus quite easily. I have the retaliate terrakion for the mirror because I think this deck will see play and I play mr.mime for the same reason to stop the nasty night spear damage. Then I have shaymin ex for sesmitoad which is super prevalent and also trainer lock isn't this decks favorite match up and finally the dusknoir. At first I seen a yveltal ex deck that was out putting a lot of damage but missing several knock outs and then came down a duskull and next turn a candy to dusknoir took 4 prizes to win the game. so I figured it would come in handy for pyroar or for any situation where knock outs were being evaded with free retreat or multiple retreats to the bench.
I'm looking for any suggestions, help and all comments are welcome. I really like this deck and hope it plays well.
