Darkrai EX/Hydreigon

Diet

In a dilemma
Member
I need help revising my list for potential Regionals. All help appreciated.

Pokemon: 14
3-1-3 Hydreigon
(2 Dark Deino (60 HP 1 Energy 10 dmg 2 Energy 20 dmg NVI) 1 Dragon Deino (Deep Growl DRX))
2 Sableye
3 Darkrai EX
1 Shaymin EX
1 Mewtwo EX

T/S/S: 31
4 Professor Juniper
4 N
3 Bianca
4 Pokemon Catcher
3 Ultra Ball
3 Max Potion
3 Rare Candy
3 Eviolite
3 Dark Patch
2 Random Receiver
2 Tool Scrapper

Energy: 12
8 Darkness Energy
4 Blend Energy (Fire, Darkness, Psychic, Grass)

Typical Darkrai Hydreigon strategy.
Well anyways, I need help with consistency, as T2 Hydreigon is ideal. I normally luck my way for first couple of turns; depending on my start, I either can do well or I end up not being able to do almost anything.
Any help appreciated~

Bianca isn't very good. If I were you, I would drop 3 Bianca.
-3 Bianca
I would add in 1 Reshiram EX, it tends to do really really well in this deck. I would also suggest upping your Random Receiver Count to 3, and adding one more Tool Scrapper. This is for Eviolite on Darkrai.
+ 1 Reshiram EX
+ 1 Random Receiver
+ 1 Tool Scrapper

@Meatheart I like having a 11 Supporter line and a 2-3 Random Receiver line, unfortunately. =/
Also, I found that overteching is not very necessary; so I don't really like Reshiram EX that much. Sure, you may KO a hydreigon, but they can just KO your Reshiram EX if you got the recoil.

So the important thing to remember when considering this deck is that while you do have many options, that Sableye brings you that much MORE options. So when looking at things you have to fetch things it's important to look at both the counts of things and what Sableye can do. Sure you may not think you NEED 4 UBall because Sableye can get one back, but he also has a BETTER chance of getting one back early if you did have 4. So it works both ways. Either way I'd advise...

-Doing nothing to your Pokemon line. You have the standard for Pokemon in this deck, and I think it's perfect to make this deck as best as possible. Sure 4 Deinos and 4 Hydreigon would make this deck very speedy, but unless you were willing to give up Shaymin at the least, I can't see it as being the best thing to do.

-1 Bianca- I know you say you like having 11 supports, and that's always great for sure, but when you have Random Receiver in the deck, it is just that- Random. So you should probably decide on how much you really enjoy seeing Bianca or not. If you don't enjoy seeing her as much then you can down the Bianca so that when you RR your chances of getting N or Juniper are boosted. Remember that seeing Juniper is almost never bad since Sableye can Junk Hunt the Items you throw away. It's inconvenient, but often times necessary to get the ball rolling because sometimes your hand just isn't good for what you need to do.

+1 UBall- This came down to a decision of adding another Rare Candy or adding another UBall. And I think UBall is overall a better choice to add. Not only does it search out Deinos or Hydreigons(or even Zweilous I guess lol) when you need them, but it searches out Sableyes to be able to Junk Hunt again if you need to get the ball rolling again or find any of your other attackers to do big damage in some way.

-1 Eviolite- 3 Eviolite's seems like a weird number. I guess it's not bad because it leaves you with one when you get Tool Scrapper'd but in general you should hope to put yourself in more advantageous spots quicker so that if they DO use Tool Scrapper you won't care anyways. That being said, if taking out an Eviolite is something you NEED to do to help get Hydreigon out by T2 and overall make your decks winning strategy more efficient- then by all means do so.

From here you'd have one card to add and I might advise Max Potion because 4 of them in this deck is actually really good to have. Normally once again I'd say Rare Candy but it sucks to be stuck with a dead Rare Candy and nothing to use it with. You could add a 4th Deino or Hydreigon, preferably Deino because it'd help you get him out quicker T1 where you'd only need to UBall for a Hydreigon and so on.

Hope this helped.

Please add the set and card number for each of the cards in your deck. Thank you :)
