• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

    When posting in a thread, be sure to explain all your suggestions thoroughly. Additionally, do not ask for advice in another member's thread.

Darkrai / Garbodor, Looking for opinions!

Hey all, been running Darkrai/Garb for the last couple of weeks. I am undefeated with this list, with my only real troublesome match coming against a straight Darkrai deck. However, manage to win that in the last turn after time was called! So here is my list...

Ideally I want to get in some crushing hammers to slow down opposition, as well as get some energy switch to turn aggressive when required. However, I am kind of happy with this list... Its very very consistent and i've gone for plenty of trainers so I can junk hunt them all day long.

But yeah, basically what i'm wanting to get an opinion on is what should I drop to put in some crushing hammers and energy switches? Or should I leave it how it is...

I'd suggest the following for your consideration:

-1 Random Receiver
-1 Pokemon Catcher. I completely understand why you want these in your deck, but you now only have a 50-50 chance of success.
-1 Ht Laser
-1 Switch

+3 Crushing Hammer
+1 Energy Switch

Personally, I feel that the Energy Search is just like another D energy since you only have D energy in your deck. So, you could replace this card with another Energy Switch.
