Darkrai in Darkrai EX

So with the announcement of the team plasma box, coming out on May 29, 2013, we are introduced to 2 new FA, non EX, promo cards. One being a new FA version of Giritina from PLS and the other being a brand new Darkrai. They are both interesting to say the least. I will be focusing on the regular Darkrai. In case you didn't know Darkrai has an attack that does 90 (like the Darkrai EX) and a flip for sleep for 2 [D] energy and 2 [C] energy. At first glance this card seems pretty, um terrible, and after further evaluation I see very much potential. Now if you've been a Darkai player at the recent state championships you probably had one thing on your mind.... Klinklang. So the reason this is so important with the release of regular Darkrai is that 90+Dark Claw+Laser & Virbank=140 the "magic" number, so do you think this can be played and replace that awful Benchtini that we had to tech in?
 
also this new darkrai is a dark type so you can dark patch to it unlike victini

but yeah it can be Dark Patched to which is SOOOOOO much better than Victini.
 
I prefer the Plasma Absol from the next set rather than this Darkrai. But yeah, same idea. Definitely easy Pokemon to put in to take care of Sigilyphs and Klinklang.

Hm.... I didn't see the plasma absol definatly worth a look considering that up to this point there have been no basic dark types ( excluding darkrai ex and sableye) that can actually attack
 
It's good in Darkrai/Lugia, but other than that, it's 100% outclassed by Absol. Absol has a higher damage output, half the energy cost, and the same HP.
 
But Absol isn't FA. Darkrai is clearly better.

But seriously, four for 90 isn't that good, even if there is sleep.
 
Its very easy for Plasma Absol's damage to be decreased down to 20-60 once your opponent realizes that you're running it, so I think its a bit more of a niche card than this is.

Darkrai has 110 hp which is a very large difference between that and only 100

Oh, really? I could;ve sworn Absol had 110... huh. But in any case, I'd rather spend my 4 energy on 2 absol than 1 Darkrai.
