Ruling Darkrai Lv. X and Honchkrow Lv.X Question

If you had both Darkrai Lv. X and Honchkrow Lv.X on your bench and a Murkrow as your active when you use an attack from Honchkrow who has 4 Basic Dark energy on him would the attack do more when you were attacking with Murcrow using Dark Genes even though there is no energy attached to murcrow but there is 4 basic on Honchkrow and Darkrai Lv.X is making then do 10 more damage?

Read the text carefully:

If the Pokemon Darkness Energy is attached to attacks, the attack does 10 more damage to the Active Pokemon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

A Murkrow copying Honchkrow's attacks does not benefit from Dark Energy attached to Honchkrow. Murkrow needs Dark Energy attached to itself in order to increase damage.

FYI, the actual Special Dark Energy card has pretty much the same text and works the same way.
