Well, with darkrai's attack, does the effect of having to flip two coins to wake up stay in effect every turn the defending pokemon stays asleep or does it only apply once then he/she starts flipping one coin?

I'm not sure what your asking. But if this is right than obviously I got it.

Darkrai requires them to flip twice. If they get HT the Pokemon is still asleep, TT they are knocked out and HH they wake up.

we're not sure yet, becuase the card has not come out yet, but I would assume that the affect stays if they stay asleep

He's asking that if a Pokemon fails the two-coin sleep check, do you continue to keep flipping two coins to wake up, or is it back to one coin after the initial sleeping turn?

That's a good question, and I don't know the answer to it. We can't really know for sure until we see the English scan.
