So say u attack with Darkrai and put the defending pokemon asleep and there frist flip is heads and second is tails so there alive still but alseep.
So does the effect of the attck make them flip two coins after the attack is performed and that hte only time they have to flip two coins or do they have to flip two coins as long as that pokemon remains asleep??
 
Once you place the effect of the two-coin sleep on the Defending Pokémon, between turns, you must ALWAYS flip two coins until either the Defending Pokémon evolves, switches, or is KOd, or until the Pokémon is affected with a new Paralyzed, Asleep, or Confused condition.
 
^I don't think you can inflict a 2nd Asleep condition on an already Asleep Poke, but I'm not sure. Couldn't find it in the Compendium either. I see no reason why a new Sleep would overrule the old one, is what I'm saying.
 
^I'm sure you can. The new one just replaces the old one... yeah, it's in the rulebook too.

As for why, I have no clue.
 
^^ Just to clarify to others what you guys are talking about:

If a Pokemon that is affected by Darkrai's "two coin" sleep and is then affected by a regular "one coin" sleep, the player only has to flip one coin because the new "one coin" sleep now overrides the "two coin" sleep.
 
Thanks For Answers everyone!! but i have one more question with this topic of Darkrai. Me and my friends play unlimited and my friend uses dark gengar (from neo destiny i belive )with darkai so with gengars power do u have to flip 4 coins to wake up if the lv x attacked???
