I want to try Steelix again. Not in Truth, but a healix version. so I will attack with steelix getting him powered up with his first attack. I have the Klinklang that will move {M} around, that way I can move it off Steelix to someone else and use Max potion. I have Darkrai EX in there to take advantage of Rainbow energy and giving free retreat, also Klinklang can move the Rainbow around to give the active free retreat etc. It's a fun deck and I will probably only play it at battle roads, but any suggestions would appreciated. So far the consistency is great.

Pokemon
3 x Onix
3 x Steelix Prime
3 x Klink
1 x Klang
2 x Klinklang BW
1 x Klinklang EPO
2 x Darkrai ex
1 x Cobalion

Trainer/Supporter/Stadium

4 x Heavy Ball
3 x Max Potion not sure if I should max out on Potion and drop Junk arm to 3?
4 x Junk Arm
4 x Professor Juniper
4 x Professor Oak's New Theory
3 x N
3 x Pokemon Catcher
3 x Rare Candy
2 x Random Receiver

Energy
4 x Rainbow Energy - Special
4 x Metal Energy - Special
6 x Metal Energy - Basic

I wouldn't say that free retreat is important, because you can rotate energy and heal, so Darkrai can come out, and in it's place, put in Skarmory UD for energy accelaration. Also the Klinkklang from EPO could be taken out and another Cobalion could take it's place. As for the four Rainbows, throw in four DCE to help build Steelix.

Overall:
-2 Darkrai EX
-1 Klinklang
-4 Rainbow Energy

+2 Skarmory
+1 Cobalion
+4 Double Colorless Energy

the problem I was having with DCE is that it can't be moved off steelix for Max Potion. losing the DCE

True, but I would still throw them in, by the time you need to heal him, you should have enough energy in play to keep him built, yes you lose the DCE, but the quicker you attack, the better, plus it helps Klinklang retreat from a catcher.

I think the DCEs though they will get discarded might be helpful for you speed (though 4 might be unnecesary). But why do you need Klingklang EPO? Could he be replaced for something of more importance?

He has the energy stream attack as well to help get energy back. That is the only reason. What would you put in it's place?

Hmm I actually think extra Pokemon search cards could be helpful because right now you only have the four Heavy balls. I think you should either add some dual balls to quickly get basics or maybe even one or two Ultra balls to get energy in the discard for energy stream. Im thinking Super Scpop Up could be good if
you dont have access to a max potion and maybe Super rod or energy retrieval if youre having trouble with losing energy to the discard but thats up to you. I thimk you could try taking out the klinklang and maybe 1-2 supporters/random reciever for the dual/ultra balls

^I'd say drop two Juniper. You'll burn through this deck fast enough, I don't think max juniper is a good idea.

Darkrai is there to help if they catcher out klinklang...

I know why Darkrai EX is in here, but IMO, it's not needed just run switch, much more consistent and with Enhanced Hammer and Lost Remover around, your Rainbows don't stand a chance. Plus they will find out your use for Darkrai EX very quickly and focus on him.
