##Energy - 0

Total Cards - 60

Note: I have a second version where I run 3 Double Colorless/3 Green Energy - but it doesn't really add much.

If you're not running energy why not run Max Potion? Also try to run 3-4 Mail instead of just the 2

-2 N
-1 Rod
-1-2 Nest ball
-2 Rope

+1-2 T-Mail
+3-4 Max Potion
+2 Float stone

What do you do if they GarboLock you? You would need an answer to that unless you plan on scooping immediately. I would highly suggest you keep that second version of the deck close because GarboLock will still be a thing this upcoming Format.

Maybe a Bedroll EX...

Could help as well. He'd still need to add in Energy, however, which was what I was hinting at initially. That said, Beedrill EX sounds like a good idea.

oh yeah XD I forgot about that so maybe run 3-4 Energy

Goodpoint on Garborador. I've been able to kill him as soon as he's out but that may be more luck than anything. Thanks for the feedback. It's a super fun deck to play though, give it a try.

Oh, definitely. I've actually advocated Yanmega BREAK and Shiinotic--

Wait... Add in Shiinotic! That card comes out immediately with Forest of Giant Plants, searches for everything you need, and literally prevents you from losing too much advantage, meaning you can drop Remoraid/Octillery with no issues.

Yeah Decidueye can easily kill Trubs while they're young

I'm running a 1-1 Shiinotic line and 2 Wishiwashi as well... but not sure how you're going to fit all of those in your deck.

Hand manipulation. So if you play judge and get a card you want to play like a bursting balloon or a Yanmega break, you can play that card and then use Wishiwashi's ability to replace it in your hand. I've only played a couple games with it this weekend, but I was able to attack every turn. Never had a turn where I wasn't able to attack and sometimes that's been a problem with Yanmega in the past. Wishiwashi is definitely a 2 of in Yanmega decks.

Credit to Yog for pointing that out, previously I had no clue as to what Wishiwashi's ability was good for.

yeah but Wishiwashi is an easy lysandre target, and plus he runs octillery so if he wants to play a card he can using Abyssal Hand

Unless I'm missing it, you don't have Lysandre?
He is missing Lysandre in his list, actually.
Would probably be a really good idea to add that in as well. Also, in all honesty... I'd play Yanmega BREAK or Decidueye GX or at a minimum, drop some of the Decidueye line. As good as his ability is, this deck is becoming clunky and unless you're going to commit to Shiinotics for Search, I don't see this doing well against Aggressive/Scaling decks.

Something like this could work:
3 Yanma
3 Yanmega
3 Yanmega BREAK
3 Morelull
2 Shiinotic
2 Rowlet
2 Dartix
2 Decidueye GX
1 Shaymin EX

21 Pokemon. This gives you room for 2 Lysandre or something like 1 Lysandre and a... 3rd VS Seeker... which you should run 4 and most likely a Judge or two considering how Yanmega BREAK works. The more I look at the list, the more flaws I realize that this has. ^^;;
If someone could spend a bit of time cleaning it up, I'm sure it would help him immensely. I can't at the moment because I have class to go to soon, but if no one else does, I'll go through the whole sha-bang.

A few thoughts for your consideration:
  • The Bursting Balloon is a really nice tech for this deck. I'd suggest including an Eco Arm in order to recover and reuse this Tool.
  • Trainer's Mail is really important in helping your Pokémon setup fast. IMO, the current 2 is insufficient; I'd suggest bumbing the count upt to at least 3. Consider replacing 1 Timer Ball with another Trainer's Mail.
  • Nest Ball only searches and retrieves Basic Pokémon from your deck; whereas Level Ball can search for any Pokémon with 90 HP or less. IMO, Level Ball will be more versatile than Nest Ball since it can be used to search and get either your Basic and Stage 1 Pokémon.
  • Why no Judge to pretty much "guarantee" you have 4 cards in hand in order for Yanmega to attack for 0 energy? Consider replacing 2 N for 2 Judge. Also, if you find that you "usually" play from behind in prizes, consider replacing another N with Ace Trainer.
  • Why no Lysandre???
  • One of the concerns I see with this deck is the possibility of consuming deck resources very quickly and that you may not have enough resources left to support taking 6 prizes, especially against opponents' Pokémon with high HP.
  • Also, 2 Escape Ropes may not be enough to get your Lysandre'd Pokémon out of the active position in a timely manner. Should 1 or the Escape Ropes be replaced by Olympia?
  • Do you really even need Octillery (which is an easy 1-prize target)? With your Ball engine, Trainer's Mails, 1 Shaymin EX and 7 card-draw Supporters, you should be able to thin-out your deck easily to the "good" cards you want left in your deck after setup. Should you keep the Octillery, consider including a Delinquent in order to disrupt your opponent's hand.
  • You'll have 3 bad match-ups: any deck running Garbodor, Vileplume and Volcanion. So, considering the meta game in your area, you may need some alternative attackers, tactics, counters, etc.
I hope you find these comments helpful.
