Deck Posting = Feed your ego

Ok, now I have checked over the couple past weeks, and I have see at least 10 decks with the "It will win blah blah or best deck out there," that is.. how u say.. Bull Crap = /
I mean.. All of these decks are THE BEST OUT THERE!!... for a format that hasn't started yet!!!! -_-'
If it's the best out there, why would you need help on it?

Also, it's amazing how certain decks just seem to have no close or bad matchups "yeah this beats everything".. if that would be the case.. then why ask for help on it???

I feel that most people post these decks to feed their ego.. the ego being "I'm the best deckbuilder out there!!!" I saw a thread saying the deck will win Cities.. how do you even know that??? We are going to most likely get another set before then.. how would you know that it's going to win????

Also, with people posting how amazing their decks are, I feel its taking away from the other players who ACTUALLY WOULD LIKE HELP on their deck. You'll see people posting heir deck 3 or 4 times thinking that maybe nobody noticed it, when, in reality, they don't care since you aren't making an outrageous statement.
That is a shame.

I've stopped posting in the deck forum mostly because there's no point in helping people when there deck is awesome.

I say, if they think it's so amazing.. make an article about it

Precisely,

Overall the deck forum is swamped with the same decks. At first it was Kingdra now I have seen over 5 AMU in the last couple of days. I like to try to help rouge decks out but when the are too hard to understand or you just keep posting to change their lines from 4-3-1 to 4-3-4 it becomes quite a chore.

At least some people post their decks for advice.

See, I am one who loves to construct a deck. But often, others can point out little things or suggest stuff you overlooked. That is why I post. That should be the main reason to post decks there.

I agree, although it doesn't really affect me here...

this thread was copied from Pokegym...

I hate how AMU is so over hyped, its like OMG I will do 200 damage, but wait I have to have 3 LVXs out. The truth is, it will take a while for it to set-up and it will be too slow.
Also, I hate how people say this is how the meta-game will be.
Truth: You cannot predict the meta-game, this season will have too many different decks and no deck can counter them all.

If you post your deck, saying its all good and what not. What post it for help? If it is, so perfect if does not need help.

I post my decks because

1.) I am not perfect and I like the help
And
2.) I like to share my ideas

There's one guy who every time his thread gets taken off the page, he posts his original version again, not taking any advice what-so-ever from the other thread he had.

I agree. I only post in decks I don't consider to be ZOMG!1!!1!! Its the best!!11111111111!!! Or decks that really need fixing.

Again, obviously if you play amu as the holy crap 200 damage thing, yes you will lose. :/ lol I haven't even been posting in the deck garage....guess its time for a tuneup.

I know... I posted a few decks in the deck garage, and all everybody posted was GG...PLOX...GG...AMU... Kingdra Swarm...

It is so annoying... well... I came up with a counter for AMU anyway :p

but it is so annoying... I have a friend who's bragged that his deck could PWN my deck, then i beat him. point... you don't know how good your deck is until you've played it.
