Ruling Decklists: The Correct Way?

I've seen decklists written a lot of different ways. Some people write "Lv. X" on decklists, some specify whether or not a Pokemon is Delta Species, some use abbreviations, etc. It's understandable, as I have yet to find a clear definition of exactly how to fill out a decklist, but what is the correct way?
Should Lv. Xs, Deltas, and the Pokedex variations be specified? What's supposed to go in the Special/Basic Energy boxes? Are abbreviations allowed? If so, which ones? It's been driving me crazy not knowing...

There is no "correct way" to fill it out in that regard. The main thing is, at the end, you should have an unambiguous catalog of every card in the deck.

Your choice on LvX and Delta. We have the set/number to uniquely identify the Pokemon. Giving the full name makes it a little easier to read.

For Pokedex, the variation is part of the card name, so it should be on the list. In practice, it doesn't matter, as there's only one legal Pokedex.

A checkmark in one of them, to show if it's Basic or Special energy.

Abbreviations are fine, as long as it's easy to tell what they mean.

No, it's not. http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=54042&highlight=Pokedex
