Woah, a ton of posts. 0_o Believe me guys, just play until Lv. 10-15 to experience all the game has to offer, or you'll just get frustated. I bought the WiiWare version of Defend Your Castle and I'm on Lv. 40 on Normal and Lv. 12/13 on Heroic mode.
Lt. Houndoom, you must use a spell, slow them down so they can get picked off or convert the big guys.
EM, it is a hard game, but it's pretty easy as long as you know what you're doing.
Good for you B-Ray. Get further.
Yes, Bulbasaur45, just kill guys to get them off your castle.
Lol SN. It is fun.
Bonsly, you'll want Mages and Craftsmen to convert people quicker and fix your castle up.
Lt. Houndoom, there's a thing called Unit Upkeep. It's not in the WiiWare version, but you must take caution when you're playing it on the comp. You must not hire too many people, or you'll lose units. Don't hire more than whatever you have at the start of a Level. Convert and keep them in reserve.
B-Ray, I have yet to try the Multiplayer, but it should be good.
You can use a spell on the Big Guys too. I wait for waves and hire a Demolitions guy to blow them up, but that doesn't work when catuplults (sp?) come. I disagree though; while the WiiWare version has a much better aesthetic (sp?), the instant-convert spell is used less than on the computer, and there's less strategy. Basically, buy the WiiWare version if you don't want to think, like the crude artstyle, and will have a crowd to play with.
dmaster out.
