Recently, I've become totally addicted to this game called Defend Your Castle. I've been wondering what other people think about it, or even if people play it. I haven't gotten very far, (stuck on Level 15), but you guys can post your score/level if you've played it. I think it's a really good game and it's highly addictive. Plus, it's going to be re-released on WiiWare May 12th with Multiplayer, which sounds just as awesome as it sounds. Oh yeah, you can play the game here: http://www.xgenstudios.com/play/castle Just click "Play Now".

I'm on level 16 and am getting ganked by those huge guys. Man, I wish I kept more people for this level. I have to use them as they're converted. Okay, I'm on level 17 now. Man, this is hard.

wow quite a hard game :S, harder than storm the house. storm the house is fun though, cause you can shoot guys instead of flinging them :p

Wow, thats cool....hard, but cool. I baught the Temple and the Artillery Range before I died :]

I'm at stage 37. And i'm stuck there. Although I have 200 archers, I dont have any wizards or stone masons. This game rocks.

Does the "delete all units" thing come back after level 15? Cause that's really irrirating when I lose 23 units and getting pwned.

Builders are useful, they regenerate HP. Stopped me dying pretty often. Wizards were the only way for me to kill the big guys, the archers kinda sucked for me...

Well if you dont have alot of archers, then yes they suck, but once you get about 100 of them, they really come in handy. Sometimes I can just sit back and watch them kill off everyone lol. The wizards are just okay. Stone Masons are really helpful, and the explosive guys (thats what I call them) are really helpful aswell.

I played the computer one once and decided to buy it on Wii Ware...MUCH funner espcially that 4 people can play at once-Team PWNAGE. As Far as the discussion,The explosive unit is the best by far....once you get to lv 20 + Those people run FAST, and those Pepsi-type Giant Guys can only be killed by Bomb/Arrow....so when a big croud starts knocking let one of those explosives go and hit it real quick...takes care of the problem. Im on 21 now, with all the upgrades baught and about 1400 HP.....Im hoping to get some more Archers but I've been using all the recruits on the Explosives...the Magicians arent that great. I have yet to lose more than 500 HP so I havent gotten to see the Stone Archers in action. I guess thats a good thing though. BUY THE WII WARE...ITS SO MUCH BETTER.

Woah, a ton of posts. 0_o Believe me guys, just play until Lv. 10-15 to experience all the game has to offer, or you'll just get frustated. I bought the WiiWare version of Defend Your Castle and I'm on Lv. 40 on Normal and Lv. 12/13 on Heroic mode.

Lt. Houndoom, you must use a spell, slow them down so they can get picked off or convert the big guys.

EM, it is a hard game, but it's pretty easy as long as you know what you're doing.

Good for you B-Ray. Get further.

Yes, Bulbasaur45, just kill guys to get them off your castle. :D

Lol SN. It is fun.

Bonsly, you'll want Mages and Craftsmen to convert people quicker and fix your castle up.

Lt. Houndoom, there's a thing called Unit Upkeep. It's not in the WiiWare version, but you must take caution when you're playing it on the comp. You must not hire too many people, or you'll lose units. Don't hire more than whatever you have at the start of a Level. Convert and keep them in reserve.

B-Ray, I have yet to try the Multiplayer, but it should be good. :D You can use a spell on the Big Guys too. I wait for waves and hire a Demolitions guy to blow them up, but that doesn't work when catuplults (sp?) come. I disagree though; while the WiiWare version has a much better aesthetic (sp?), the instant-convert spell is used less than on the computer, and there's less strategy. Basically, buy the WiiWare version if you don't want to think, like the crude artstyle, and will have a crowd to play with.

Well I have the WiiWare version now. Its awsome. I'm on level 55 on normal, and on heroic i'm on level 21.

YEah, I got that off info my friend at school... I didn't actually realise I hadn't got enough money. I should probably start again because it's REALLY HARD now.

Lol. Yeah, you really have to conserve your units until you need them, unlike in the WiiWare version. I just can't stand constant waves of enemies to deal with + catulpults tearing my defenses apart. I love the early goings of the game anyway.

Yeah, my teacher hasn't even gotten to catulpults yet. :0 It's hard because spells don't work on them. -__-"

Im stuck....Im at like 24 and I cant win...I cant recruit guys quick enough to bomb them and they come in crazy big waves :(

Are you on WiiWare B-Ray? If so, just blow up the exploding guys and use the huge exploding spells. That goes for both versions actually...
