Ruling Deoxys Ex Ability questions.

i have a few questions with Deoxys ex's ability. i just built a deck with Darkrai Ex and Plasma Leafeon.

1. Does Deoxys Ex's ability work with other Deoxys Ex in play or not?

2. Darkrai EX has an attack that deals 90 base damage and then 30 to 1 on your opponents bench. Equipped with a plasma badge, would the extta damage from deoxys EX apply to both parts of the move or just one?

3. When Leafeon attacks for 20xenegry on opponents side, does the extra damage apply before you multiply (20+deoxys x enegry) or do you apply it after you multiply? (20 x energy +Deoxys?)

1. No it does not. That's why the card says "excluding any Deoxys EX" in parenthesis.

2. It only gets added to the active pokemon which again, is why the card says "to the Active Pokemon."

3. You add the damage after you multiply for each energy. So if there is 2 energy in play and you have 1 Deoxys EX in play, you would do 20 x 2 + 10 for 50 total damage.
 
okay so then if Plasma Badge Darkrai with a deoxys EX out deals 90 and then 30 to the bench, it will still only deal 30 to the bench?
 
Yes. The extra damage ONLY gets added to the active pokemon. So Night Spear would do 100 damage to the active and 30 to the bench.

Reading the card is a wonderful thing.
