If I devolve a lv X, do i remove its lv X stage / lv X + highest stage / no effect?
And can I devolve a lv X basic, such as Cresselia lv X?

It removes LV X + Highest Stage(Stage 2). For example, if you devolve a Empoleon LV X, the normal Empoleon will get devolved as well...

No, you can't devolve a basic...

i see...this is new..is the reason beacause on the LVL X card it says lvl. up instead of Evolved from..so you actually take out the stg b4 the lvl X as well?

Yes, that's what he's saying.

This also has a good side for LVX's - you cannot devolve a Cresselia LVX, for example.
