Hi guys! This is a very tried and tested deck, because it's the only one I use on versus on the TCGO. I partly just want to share it and partly want to get feedback and improve it. So, any comments appreciated!

Seismitoad obviously the main attacker, Empoleon for attack boost, Regice alternate attacker in case Seismitoad is struggling against big exs and Octillery for draw support.

hello,

from your list, there are a couple of changes that I would recommend. first, I'd look into adding Manaphy-EX from BKP, as he will give you a lot of flexibility with free retreat. I'd also recommend Team Flare's Grunt & Xerosic as re-usable ways to energy stall your opponent. I don't think you necessarily need Tool Retriever, as your only tool is Muscle Band, and if your thought is to get rid of opposing Headringers, I'd consider that it's not THAT frequently of a played card in the first place, but if you're really worried about it, you could use AZ or SSU (both more versatile cards) over Tool Retriever. Here's a quick mock-up list with these, and some other, changes in mind:

4 Seismitoad-EX
2/2/2 Empoleon
2 Regice
2/2 Octillery
1 Manaphy-EX
=17

4 DCE
6 Water
=10

4 Sycamore
3 Judge (great synergy with Octillery & Item Lock)
2 Team Flare Grunt
1 Lysandre
1 AZ
1 Xerosic
1 Pokemon Center Lady
=13

4 VS Seeker
4 Dive Ball
3 Super Scoop Up
3 Muscle Band (or maybe 2 Muscle Band, 1 Fighting Fury Belt, idk)
3 Trainer's Mail (added consistency, sift through your numerous supporters more quickly to get the one you want)
=18

3 Silent Lab (combined with Energy Disruption, Judge & Item lock, you've got yourself a nasty disruption deck here, rely on PCL, AZ, & SSU for healing)
=3

A completely different idea based around your concept is to restructure the deck to play like Archie's Blastoise used to. Acrobikes, Battle Compressors, Archie's Ace in the Hole to bring 1-2 Empoleons on the board without needing to play/evolve Piplup/Prinplup. Idk, just a thought.

Either way, I hope you find some help from this post.

Thanks for the feedback! While I was trying to keep this deck on the cheap side, it's obvious that Seismitoad isn't the option for that. I've tried using Manaphy, but found that it actually isn't helpful very often. It just kind of sits there, using up my scarce bench space. Also, for a fairly low power EX like a toad, I find that there's no way around using rough seas. I'll try it, but I'm not optimistic. However, everything else is very obviously going to improve this deck. Thanks again!
