Disadvantages of specific cards.

When I see discussions about Salamence Ex (PK), it usually goes like "Yeah 150 is a lot but you got to ditch 5. If you kill a Casty with that, its as if you ditch a card for each 10 damage. Also you can deckout fast". Who agrees with above statement?




Then you may now explain to me how I did not deck out a single time running 3 Sallys along with 4 Casty's and a lot of Delta basics. That disadvantage is so minor if you tweak your deck, but people seem to have lost that skill. I urge you all to find a card that seems to have an AMAZING attack at first glance but is held back by a glancing disadvantage, and then build a deck around it. You likely won't be disappointed.

Too true. Look at lugia ex. If blastoise hadn't been around i'll bet few people would have played it. Now people think it's dead because blasties gone.
There are still 3 main ways to play it.
Way 1) Blaziken and Magneton (PK) This one I don't get but is highly played.
Way 2) Swampert ex and Holon Circle(CG) Lugia Attacks, then Swamp gets energy back. Only works 4 times though.
Way 3) This is the way I invented
Ampharous(DF) and Flygon(HP) and Holon Farmer. In this way you attach 3 energy per turn to lugia. This is my favorite way.

I've always thought Amphy δ would be a good deck, then I heard of someone running it in Texas and doing well. It's not the attack that it's good for, but people laughed at it for it's meh attack and not-so-great Weakness/Retreat.

I still think Golduck d is an awesome card with a not-so-awesome weakness and Body, but I've never seen a (sane) person playing it and I wondered why. So today, I traded sum Golduck d's and I already figured out a killer combo some time earlier.
Milotic d + shutdown techs like Dusclops CG, Celebi ex,, Rayquaza ex d, etc. I think this could easily shut down most of the decks I've seen, if I only could manage to set it up fast enough.

actually, the Good thing about Sally ex PK is it's 2nd Attack.

thought it's not exectly what you mean, Nidoqueen d DF. If Queen would not have it's Power, Almost NOBODY Would play it. It's like always, the Secondairy Attacker and Mid-to-Late Game Attacker, thought it's a Great T3 Attacker, even without Gatr/Gyarados.
