Ruling Discard or not

I have a question.
When you play like manectric ex or something like that, his 2nd attack ses

LLC discard all L energy attached to manectric ex ...


But what if you have like 2 Holon electrode attached to manectric ex

do you have to discard one of them?

I think not but I wanted to be sure

Discard both, since they provide all types, including lightning.

When an attack of any pokemon says "Discard all X energies attached to whoever", then All energy cards which provides that 'X' type must be discarded. So things like Rainbow, Multi, DRE, Holon's pokemon, etc all go to the discard pile when an attack like that is used.
