BW/BW2 Ditto & Daycare locations?

Hi.

I have previously played Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon White before, but that was when Black/White was first released. I now have White 2 and after being away from the game for a long time there are two things I need answering.

1. Where is the Daycare centre and when can I access it?
2. Where can I get Ditto?

Reason I ask, is on the previous games mentioned above, I used to breed Pokemon and trade on Pokegym and I may have helped a friend do it on this site before, not too sure though.

The Daycare Center is on Route 3. Ditto can be found in Giant Chasm. You'll have to go through the cave first to get to the grassy area it can appear.
 
You can't access Route 3 until after you beat the elite 4 and become the champion. Giant Chasm you go to during the main story so you'll get access to their soon. Keep in mind in the normal grass the Pokemon are around 40s in terms of level.
 
You have to beat the whole game for Daycare, Giant Chasm will come up after 8th badge.

So I cant start breeding until after beating the storyline. Level 40 sounds a bit intimidating for now due to spreading the points across the board so to speak.

Your Pokemon should probably be in the 40's by the time you get there.
 
I didn't level grind at all and had no problem getting around that level. Just avoid the dark patches of grass since the Pokemon will be tougher.
 
I always found that to be one of the stupidest decisions they made in that game. I mean, the Daycare is too crucial a feature to restrict until post game. The only time it was ever appropriate was in FRLG, when they needed to prevent you from getting baby Pokemon.
 
Thanks for the help everyone, finally finished the game so now I'm focusing on breeding, trading and trying to sort out a half decent team.
