Ruling Dittos.... Why?

I snagged a bunch of Delta cards today and there are a bunch of "Dittos" in there. I'm trying to figure these guys out. Sure they can change into other dittos. So I can see the weakness/resistance advantage to using them. But ---

1)Can they evolve into other things?
2)If you're going to use alot of these, wouldn't you have to use a variety of energy cards which could limit your deck?
3)Could you list your true feelings on the Dittos. Are they weak or strong and why would you use them or not?

1) No they can't evolve.
2) Of coure you need to have the energy needed to use their attacks. If an attack requires fire energy, you have to have fire energy attached to that pokemon.
3) In funplay decks, the're fine. In good modified turnaments, they suck :/

And remember. You can have only four Dittos in deck, even though they look different.

i agree with mewstor in my opinion the orginial ditto and squirtle ditto are the best as original ditto can take back one energy card and attach to itself and squirtle ditto can heal itself

And they can't evolve into the person that they look like, like baby pokemon do?  

If not my daughter who just played for the first time this weekend got screwed over by some little punk, who was also stacking/arranging his deck under the table.  It was our first time playing and my daughter was learning so I didn't say anything.  

He had the Charmander/Charmelon evolved group on his bench and during his turn he put the Charmelon onto ditto and went to work taking out my daughters goods.

No Ditto is ever able to evolve into Charmeleon. That is just stupid. An evolution card can only be played on a card that the evolution card sais it evolves from. On Charmeleon it doesn't say "evolves from Ditto" it sais "evolves from Charmander".

And decks and cards should always be held on top of the table so the other player can see what you're doing.

My theory is that the Ditto cards are made by the US Army. They wait until somebody wins a sanctioned tournament with them, and the one who does is admitted into the army and gets instantly promoted to general for displaying such tactical skills.
