DPPt/HGSS Does anyone Play this game anymore?

As the title said, do you guys still play Pokemon NetBattle? To those who don't know about it, it's a Pokemon Battle Simulator that also allows you to challenge other trainers.
 
Shoddy Battle has taken the place of NetBattle. NetBattle was for the Advance generation. Now for the DS generation, they made Shoddy Battle.
 
The DP update is pretty buggy, though; Shoddy Battle has far less bugs. Netbattle has the advantage of double battles, which is why some people play it instead of Shoddy Battle.
 
Doubles players still use NetBattle to this day. On the other hand, for Singles, Shoddy is superior.

Shoddy Battle still doesn't support double battles? What's the holdup?
