Ruling Does Pokemon Ranger Deny M Beedrill"s 4 Poison?

What i mean exactly by this is that if i were to use Ranger after M beedrill's attack, would it return the poison back to a single damage counter or not?

In short, it just counts as a buffed special condition and isn't affected by Ranger.
