Does your prerelease have prizes for the winner?

Are there prizes at your prerelease beyond the normal 2 packs and a promo?

So I went out of town for a prerelease and ended up winning the tournament. But I guess they don't have prizes for the winner there. I think they give out half a box in prizes at the tournaments in my home town. So which is the norm?
 
Depends if there's an extra pack available to be given out to the person who goes undefeated.

The local TO used to give out a whole box to the winner and extra packs to second and third up until HGSS. I think I heard something about him not being allowed to any more.
 
i asked and they said no prizes.

however, there were some packs leftover and they gave one to the top players in each division
 
at one point in time, there were prizes given out...that was stopped a couple of seasons ago...now the only time I've seen prizes given out was for the Booster Draft
 
I think POP changed the rules for TOs... I believe that
they're no longer able to award prizes to top performers.
 
I didn't go to any prerelease yesterday, but every one I have gone to an extra pack was given to the player with the best record in each division.
 
yeah. i asked this question on the gym for a previous prerelease and apparently its not allowed anymore. then again our LL/TO doesnt even have league prizes.

This is true. During the Stormfrong PR, there were no prizes, but then when I won Platinum, I got 8 packs instead of 2. Then during Rising Rivals and Supreme Victors the only extra prizes were posters. So it depends on what they have.
 
There's always like 5 Booster Boxes left at my pre-releases and I've never won a prize for getting first. I've won 3 of the 4 PRs I've gone to.
 
At our pre-releases, everyone who participates in every round gets an extra booster pack at the end.
 
We dont have any prizes for winning, but there is a raffle. That turns me away from going to them. Just an extra 4 packs to the winner would encourage me to go to more.
 
Yeah, there are raffles sometimes, but we've never had prizes.
