5{F}
3{C}{C}

cards that need explaining
3 crobat g and spiritomb: They are basically plus powers or an extra bite when you need one.

1-1-1-1 dusknoir: reaper pulse is a slower flash bite and with dusky x ectoplam will destroy.

mespirit: continually lock "bright look" and "healing breath."

the matchups
Luxchomp: even to favorable. tank with donphan to ko luxray and ursaring prime to faint garchomp.

gyarados: slightly unfavorable. gyarados is a slow deck so you'd get people on that, but if they set up faster your pretty much even.

vilegar: slightly unfavorable. ok a deck that will lock trainers which means slow setup.

If this is your first deck, I welcome you!

Anyway, I'm going to give you three different varients of Donphan. Common Donphan decks do not use Ursaring Prime and Dusky LV.X. With Lostgar going around, it's going to be hard to keep Dusky in consistently for a few turns, and it is easier to get a damage counter on Ursaring with a Rainbow energy than Earthquake. Let me give you a few varients:

1.Donkphan
2.Donphan Protection
3.Donchamp

1.This deck uses BTS to get a donk first turn with Donphan and usually includes Uxie LA, Azelf LA, and helpul T/S/S like Pokemon Collector and Seeker to pull off a donk.

2.This deck takes advantage of Earthquake without giving 10 damage by using Manectric PL and Bench Shield on Manectric for complete Bench Protection, with useful T/S/S and Pokemon.

3.This deck combos with Machamp Prime's Champ Buster to deal huge damage(up to 150). Useful T/S/S are included as well as Pokemon.

Another varient that I don't see too often is a player playing a 4-4 Donphan with nothing else except for T/S/S and energy. The point is to keep forcing your opponent to draw a card until they lose by not being able to draw a card at the beginning of their turn. It hasn't worked too well, though.

Okay, you can choose one of these varients if you wish, or if you want to use Ursaring Prime with Phanny, I can help out too. I'd like to help you out. :)

Edit: This does have difficulty with G-Dos, as Donphan has a weakness to water.

Take out the 1-1 Ursaring and 1-1-1-1 Dusky X for a 2-2 ERL and 2 Rainbow energy. Late game ERL can knock out 2-4 of your opponents pokemon, giving you the win, and since Donphan has no powers, the Donphan aren't affected.

IMO, 1-1 ERl with Registark is much better than 2-2 ERl. It lets you setup a surprise ERl, and with Registark (Regirock LA and Stark Mountain), you can attach a Fighting on to ERl and a Lightning Energy or that quick Thunderfall. I'd say drop the Ursaring line, Dusknoir line, and DCE for 1-1 ERl, two Lightning Energy, two Stark Mountain, and one Regirock. For the other two spaces, add in 1-1 Donphan.

It's my first rouge variant I do want to keep Ursy but I will take a look at donphan protection.

-1-1-1-1 dusky
+ 2-2 manetric
-2 crobat g
+ 2 bts

I haven't tested stark mountain and don't know what it does.

Here's a scan of Stark Mountain. Moving energy is vital, so see how it works for you, if you try this with ERL.
