BW/BW2 Double Battle glitch?...

Hello!

I was in a double battle, and the in game trainers knocked out both of my Pokemon on the same turn, I tried to send out two more Pokemon, but it would not let me. (I could only select one Pokemon, and then it would still be on the sending out menu. Sometimes, depending which options I did, it said that "(my Pokemon's name) can't be switched out.)" I had to turn off my Nintendo DS because of this.

Is there anyway to fixed this just in case I get the likely event of it happening again please?

Thats a shame. I lost a few hours worth of training my Vigoroth . Real life people on the Random Matchup had to wait a few minutes for both of my Pokemon to be sent out in Double Battles too.
