Hi, I was playing PTCGO and in one of my matches I saw some calculations that confuse me now. I had a Lugia-EX as my active and on my Lugia I had 2 Double Colorless energy attached to him. My opponent had a Swampert(non-EX) as his active and his swampert had 6 Water Energies and an Assault Vest. During my turn I was planning on using Aeroball, which does 20 times the amount of energy attached to both active pokemon, and counted 10 enegies between us. I did the math of 20•10(energies)=200, minus 40 because of his assault vest, so than my damage would be 160 which would then knockout his 140hp Swampert. Once I attacked him my damage was only 120? I was guessing that the 2 DCEs only count as 2 energy instead of four. So instead it would be 20*8=160-40=120. I'm wondering why dosen't 2 DCE count as 4? If so than Aeroball should be 20 times as many energy cards attached to both active pokemon, right?
