This month is Dragon Month on Pokemon.com! They will be having Dragon-type releated episodes on Pokemon TV, and the launch of a NEW Pokemon.com/EX site. This is to promote the release of the next TCG set Dragons Exalted! Usually, as with month-long promotions and TCG tie-ins, expect a event distribution to be announced on the new Pokemon.com/EX site that will launch August 7th 2012!

Yes! Think about it:
They'll be promoting Pokemon Conquest(Nobunga's Shiny Rayquaza) and Dragon Exalted(There's a Shiny Rayquaza in the set)!
Then there's the Shiny Dragon-type Eggs....
But most likely Rayquaza!
 
^I think I'd actually prefer a V-create Rayquaza than a shiny Rayquaza... even better would be a V-create shiny Rayquaza...
 
Not Shiny Rayquaza guys. That is a 3rd gen Pokemon. We are now in 5th gen. Might be Shiny Reshiram and Zekrom since they can't even be shiny. If they do this promotion than this is a perfect time to do shiny forms of these 2 beasts XD.:)

I really hope they give us the shiny Rayquaza because I missed the Japanese event by like 10 minutes. x___x (I have an imported japanese Black version.)
 
It's gotta be the Nobunaga's Shiny Rayquaza.
Conquest release tie-in for Europe, and Dragons Exalted tie-in everywhere.
OR, A Kyurem for BW2.

You obviously haven't seen Japan's events this year. They are pretty epic. Shine Rayquaza (btw, it's Adamant) & V-Create Rayquaza. Fun.
I really do hope for the eggs. One every three days+a in-store Rayquaza download?
 
Well, we are now getting Keldeo at Gamestop starting August 27th 2012 to October 6th 2012, so whatever Dragon Pokemon Distribution it is, it'll probably be over Wi-Fi.
 
Well that shoots down the eggs. I would have loved to see them. But Keldeo is nice :)

All of our Pokemon Events come from Japan. For Dragon-type Pokemon, Japan had three this year so far:
1. Eggs of Shiny Dragon Pokemon
2. V-create Rayquaza
3. Nobunga's Shiny Rayquaza

Unless they were to do it at Toys"R"US? But V-create Rayquaza doesn't seem likely especially since Japan got it because Rayquaza won that poll back in February.

..Right, because Japan totally didn't just get a Piplup event.

Anyway, I really hope that we get the Dragon Year eggs. Those are all amazing shinies.

@Teeboy23: Which makes me wonder if we are going to get a similar poll in the west (like what happened with the Arceus poll). I'm not sure if Rayquaza would win here in the west. Which makes it interesting is that Rayquaza got V-create because it won, so if a different pokémon had won (or wins, in case they actually make that poll here), would it have an event move too?

Probably. Maybe. If they do the poll. The first took nearly a year to be done over here. Maybe there's still a chance.
 
Guys the reason Why I said that it is a possible event for these 2 Dragons is because they are both half Dragon type. Rayquaza is half Dragon but as I said they are 3rd gen Pokemon even though they have been making lots of Rayquaza events. I have the most recent events for Rayquaza. The V-Create one and the other Japanese for the Ambition show.:)
 
Guys, they do have a poll. They're calling it the "Pokemon Power Bracket" and the winner gets a "special downloadable prize pack".

The Poll will probably end up being a Global Link download, or it be wi-fi and we get eggs via Global Link, but Rayquaza is the most likely event.
 
No, the Power Bracket has already been up for a while and the download is not a Pokémon, just a "prize pack", that means wallpaper/favicon/screensaver etc. stuff.
