Dragonite from “Pokemon TCG Online Illustration Exhibition”

[Water Pokémon Master]

Following the reveal of Zacian and Gardevoir, the Pokemon TCG Online Illustration Exhibition has now debuted a mock-up Dragonite card by Japanese illustrator Takumi Wada. It also won’t be a real card, as these mock-ups are only meant to promote the exhibition.

As posted before, Takumi Wada is known for illustrating artwork for The Legend of Zelda franchise. He has never illustrated a Pokemon card before. This is his final illustration for the exhibit.

I kinda wish they'd also exhibit existing cards without any text/icons covering their art, like some of the trainer gallery and alternate art Pokemon and full art trainer cards.

They will have to pay him residuals in addition to paying the commission on the art and they're lazy. It's why we don't have any western artists. Really sucks I'd love more western artists in the game.
