Drapion Lvl. X's tri-poison poke-power poisons and changes damage counter placement for poison from 1 to 3 in between turns.

Toxicroak MT's poison sacs poke-body states that the opponent can't remove the special condition poison by evolving or leveling up their poisoned pokemon.

My question is: If my opponent's tri-poison goes through on my active pokemon and poisons it, then on my turn I evolve it; does the poison do 3 damage counters or 1 at that point.

Basically, are the extra poison damage counters a seperate condition from the actual poison, or it is rolled in with the poison, and as such, can't be removed due to poison sacs?

Thanks in advance.

No. They aren't. Poison is Poison. If there were such a thing as Double Poison, it would say it on the card. Hope I helped.

Just like what Celebi23 said, poison is poison.

Even if the poison doesn't go away, the text says nothing about changing damage. 3 damage counters would still be placed.
