Druddigon - Colorless - HP100
Basic Pokemon

Ability: Rough Skin
If this Pokemon is your Active Pokemon and is damaged by an opponent's attack (even if this Pokemon is Knocked Out), put 2 damage counters on the Attacking Pokemon.

[C][C][C] Clutch: 60 damage. The Defending Pokemon can't retreat during your opponent's next turn.

Weakness: none
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Eviolite - Trainer

Pokemon Tool: Attach a Pokemon Tool to one of your Pokemon. You can only attach one Pokemon Tool per Pokemon and it stays attached to that Pokemon.

If this card is attached to a Basic Pokemon, all damage done to this Pokemon is reduced by 20 damage.

You can use any number of Trainer cards during your turn

What do you guys think of this combo? Could this work with Reshiram/Zekrom? I could see this being big once they release.

Opps Mods can you please move this to the players sandbox forums.

Since rules limit same name trainer card into 4. i don't think it works together with zekrom/reshiram variants. You'll want to have Eviolites for them and not this. i think it might be able to combo with Hydreigon/Emboar. Or as main attacker with emboar.

i dunno... there are a few that already starting to drop emboar from their lists and i dont think its going to get any better once nats are over with. personally i would run that particular trainer in someting comperable to ZPS with a 1-1 or 2-2 Yanmega tech

druddigon will be amazing with rugged helmet. attack and take 4 dmg counters? attack that can abuse dce maybe even play the shamin pachi engine. hold them in with attack so they are forced to switch or attack and take another 4 dmg. 100 hp while weak compared to the 130 dragons and new basics (deer?) is still pretty beast for a basic who can donk and has a nice defensive ability

I'm still skeptical about this combo. Sure, against something like Bearplume it would be nice to clear the lock, but against Reshiboar or ZPS it's hard to win, considering Outrage really hurts you. It might be rogue, but I don't know if it will get far. Maybe if the Outragers die down(considering Kyurem is being hyped too), it may not have a chance.

Eviolite has much better uses, like on Cubone, Cobalion, and other pokemon that can be buffed up with Steels and other stuff.

Druddigon works better with the Rugged Helmet and Catcher to Lock some foolish pokemon on the bench like Emboar, Feraligatr, etc.

But I think Rugged Helmet works best on Krookodile >.>
