also the compass is a clock
... I do believe the one who first heard the humming was never able to figure out its direction. By all means, though, keep walking in circles. Circular motion is a great way to get things in gear.
Shinx peers into the forest beside Vulpix. The shadows seem to have stopped moving. He does notice that the humming, though faint, seems to be coming from underneath his feet.
If I took your monacle, and Put it on a statue, would that statue not have such a glorious monacle?
I have always dreamed of being able to go through walls
@Keeper of Night
I'll use a light Blizzard ahead to see if I can blow away the fog. I try to minimize the potential damage and make it just wind.
@Keeper of Night
I use Crunch and Signal Beam on the source of the humming.
Bagon picks the compass up, and wipes off the dirt off the plastic top. As he does, the needle inside begins to spin wildly. Bagon notes that no letters are listed inside, instead replaced by numbers.
12 on top. 9 on the left. 3 on the right. 6 on the bottom.
The needle continues to spin.
i suspect we are in an area where time is distorted
The are called Duskull, and no we would become Phantumps. I have always dreamed of being able to go through walls though the element of surprise is useful
Hey, so it's underneath. The compass may not be a compass after all, but it's all we got. Jabber, come 'ere and do some work with the compass/clock.
[OOC] I just asked Keeper about it and apparently it may be possessed by aliens. >.>
if we did have a map in theory it would just be a big circle and map coordinates are only 2 numbers for example (8,2)You guys think that maybe this could be coordinates? If we had a map, we might be able to follow this.
but its my compassHmm ... I wouldn't be so certain of that. Time seems to be measured regularly here, as our good GM has mentioned we have a day to clear the area, and the sun seems to be moving normally. Clocks are clocks anyhow; they show time, but aren't dependent on it. Even if some all-powerful Grass-type lizard and his mischievous randomizer were screwing with time, a clock should realistically keep ticking off seconds one by one.
...
... Take it from me. Being able to go through walls really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Hmm ...
... @Keeper of Night, I shall, uhh, "do some work with the compass/clock". What could possibly go wrong.
