All the fliers/climbers can see is the tree line and fog. There is obviously some force (of nature or otherwise) that wants us to stay put....unless we can figure out a trick to get us out of here. Simply walking has been proven ineffective. Perhaps we should sit tight as the "humming sound" appears to be getting closer to where we are now?

I'm sure waiting around will turn out all right, but a peaceful stroll through the forest does sound pleasant!

I've gotta wait with my hot tub until all of you fire types have gotten out of the hole, anyway..

So what we haven't explored the entire forest anyway even if we come back that just means we don't have remember the way back

@Keeper of Night [Holds a stick near -but not TOO close to- bninjas' flame]
Slowpoke grabs the stick with his tail, and holds it over Litwick's flame. He continues to hold it there, attempting to dry it out.

perhaps I'll stick with shedding a little light on the situation? The more the merrier with Littlewick here. I should like to softly light the way inside the deepening hole for the diggers with dazzling gleam @Keeper of Night
Cutiefly hovers over the small hole, illuminating the inside. Salandit, Bagon, Meditite, and Chimchar are seen inside, struggling against each other.

@Keeper of Night I'll examine the crest to see if there's anything else weird about it.

Nothing seems to have changed.

@Keeper of Night I'll use Acrobatics to try to get out of the hole.
Chimchar climbs out of the hole with Acrobatics.

@Keeper of Night
I use dragon claw to assist me in climbing out of the hole by jumping off of salandit
Bagon attempts to climb out of the hole, but slips by stepping on Salandit.

@Keeper of Night I jump in the hole and dig around.
Trapinch jumps in the hole as soon as Chimchar pops out. Getting beneath even Salandit, the Ground-type is able to dig the hole even deeper, covering the others with dirt. The mud seems to be dissipating.

@Keeper of Night
I'll reach into the hole to try to pull up Chimchar
Rowlett flies into the hole to pull out Chimchar. However, Chimchar has already escaped. Rowlett picks up Bagon instead, who seems to be having a rough time, and sets him back in the clearing.

@Keeper of Night since I am not very useful at getting silly Pokémon out of holes they dug themselves, I would like to further investigate the note to see if I recognize anything about it (being a ghost type maybe I recognize the crest as a local clan of ghostly knights or such?)
Duskull takes another look at the symbol.

But doesn't notice anything remarkable about it.

@Keeper of Night I would like to check out the nearby trees to see if any are hollow or contain any foreign objects.
Same for you. Let's stick to one action at a time from now on, eh? There's already 25 of you. :eek:

Duskull then moves to the edge of one side of the clearing, and begins phasing through the trees. He doesn't seem to find anything of note inside, but he notices the shadows in the distance seem to have appeared again. He can't make them out, however.

I don't remember keeper saying the ice is what's keeping anyone from climbing out. Why don't you ask the GM what you can do first instead of doing things without enough information? Like this:

@Keeper of Night
Can you give us a detailed description of the hole and the situation with the people inside? What is its deepness? its width? where is loose mud, where is the more solid soil?

And I'd suggest to not follow through with that action.
Bagon had dug the hole to about this own height. Salandit doubled that, and now Trapinch has tripled the depth.
Currently inside are Salandit and Trapinch, both digging, and Meditite, who is doing nothing.
The mud along the walls appeared toward the end of Bagon's hole, but does not seem to be increasing with depth. With how far Trapinch is now, the mud seems to have all but gone from below him.
The entrance for the hole is much narrower than where the Pokemon inside it are now, thanks to the amount of Pokemon that continue to add on to it. However, it is still wide enough for anyone to fit through in single-file.
Not being a straight hole makes climbing difficult, but not impossible.

I have here a totally-accurate representation:

He lifted a 40Kg load? that is one strong rowlet.

Ah, so it's a funnel-shaped hole. Yes, nobody is climbing out of that. And the spiral ramp might not work after all.

And who said he pulled me out on his own who knows maybe he was pulling me up but I was still climbing

*bounce bounce bounce*

So many things happening! So hard for a little Spoink to keep up!

@Keeper of Night : I'll break off a stick in case I need to beat any attackers off with it and bounce off to follow the others going off into the forest.

Since you're leaving, leave me the compass, please. It's obvious it won't be of much use outside of this clearing.
