"No you totally can, you just gotta flap your wings like this." Flutters around before returning to steed. "It is hard at first, but then you get good at it." Smiles earnestly

What do you mean dysfunctional we work great together!
Well at least some groups of us do
PP2607.png
And some quite clearly don't! ^.^

Yeah, c'mon. Even I can fly!*

*Disclaimer: I only fly when someone throws me
PP2607.png
You fly like a stone.

Anyway, g'day to the Sneasel that somehow randomly appeared out of nothingness.

On that note, @Keeper of Night Mitsh would like to continue down the sloped path with the others.

Ok so say: I am here. If you are at the cave
Also can I switch my ranged attack later on? @Keeper of Night
I believe I answered this before, but after ranking a move you'll have the chance to swap it out.

Rowlett flies out of the cave to grab the stick Litwick was holding earlier. He searches for a few minutes, but can't find it anywhere! He quickly flies back into the hole with the others.

@Keeper of Night I'll descend into the cave with bbninjas and co.
@Keeper of Night
This sea cucumber wants to be a hole cucumber
...This isn't where I went to bed... (looks around the clearing) looks like I'm not alone here... and it seems there's a hole they're looking in. @Keeper of Night i jump into the hole to explore.

Pichu and Pyukumuku jump in the hole to catch up with the others, getting some mud on their feet (or, uh, belly?) from the drop.
Sneasel, being mostly a nocturnal Pokemon, wakes up just in time to see them drop in, and follows suit.

@Keeper of Night
with the others i go down the cave
*i drift ahead down the stalact-ey tunnel @Keeper of Night gleaming as I go*
@Keeper of Night I proceed down the path/tunnel towards the strange noise, while motioning for everyone else in the cave to follow. (I go slowly so they can catch up!)

@Keeper of Night I'll go get Prof P and levitate him down to where the rest of the group is.
Klink looks down at the ground beneath him, where Pyukumuku has moved to in effort to catch up. Klink then picks up Pyukumuku between his gears. Pyukumuku, squirming, falls. Klink seems confused, and picks him up again. Klink then moves toward the cave opening and back before placing Pyukumuku back down again.
He trips! Taking 2 damage! Honedge is knocked out!

...Maybe the darkness is getting to him.

@Keeper of Night
I go into the cave
LEEROY JENKINS!!!
Bagon thinks trying to move twice will do him any good.
He lets out a load roar into the now-silent cave. In the distance he hears the splashing noise from before, but it fades quickly.

@Keeper of Night I'll take a deep sniff of the air to try and see what I can smell up ahead.
Looking ahead, Spoink smells... Rain? There must be water nearby.

@Keeper of Night
I'll idly make small ice sculptures of simple shapes to pass the time.
Vulpix begins playing in the snow she created earlier.

I will just say, Mirdo mentioned the fact that he wont be here since he is on Holiday. I thought he mentioned it elsewhere but maybe that was just discord (which you should all join)
@Keeper of Night
Mirdo has been modkilled / eaten by monsters! Whatever floats yer kayak.

@Keeper of Night

...And everyone else you're all stuck on this yacht.

With the sun now completely set, the light from overhead has gone. The only light in the cave emits from Litwick, and a fainter glow seems to be coming off the statue Vulpix picked up. With a majority vote, the players in the cave progress forward down the sloping path.

As they reach the other side from where they were standing previously, they begin to hear the quiet sound of water dripping from the ceiling onto the rocky floor below. The low light makes it hard to see far, but the cave suddenly widens into a larger open area.
The banging or humming from earlier, now completely dead, leaves them with little in sense of direction. Feeling along the walls, they find that the "room" they are in really just splits the path they were following into three more paths.

On their right, the paths slopes upward. A way back out perhaps? Would this lead them out of the forest, or back into it?
On their left, the path continues downward at a gradual slope the dripping sound is loudest in this direction. An underwater lake?
Straight ahead of them the path looks the same as the path they just took to get here, or at least very similar. Rock formations adorn the walls.

On no path can any of the party members make out the ending, or wherever they might lead.

I, uh, don't really have a visual for this one. Though I doubt you need one.
Regardless of where you were before (assuming I missed a post like I do) assume you are with the group at this point in time (unless your name is Mirdo) (sorry Mirdo).

Decisions, decisions! I'm not particularly keen on going towards the surface, since considering our luck, we'll probably just return to the same area as before. The underground lake sounds interesting, but with most of us not of the water type, progressing past any lake would be difficult to say the least. I say we go down the 'straight ahead' path.

PP2607.png
Someone (@Celever) should also check the compass.

@Keeper of Night Mitsh inspects the rock formations around the path that is staight ahead using his flame.

Can we inspect the walls for more claw marks? I would not like to go down the path with whatever made those...

@Keeper of Night Ill follow Mitsh to inspect the walls of the cave.

"Drips!!!" Spire shouts out with glee. "That is where we have to go, I can just feel it in my feathers"

I think we should go to the dripping sound. We do have a large number of fliers/levitators. If need be, we can carry the others across. The adventurous path is always the right one for DnD I think.

Edit: Didn't see Vracken's post. Quite strange that a fire type would go this way haha. Oh yah I remember - you can fly too!

Honesstly, I think the sstraight path is the correct one... The pool iss too dangerouss because of the number of fire-typess we have and the path up iss too obviouss and it could lead to danger... Objectively, we could all go in different directionss though.

I do not want to carry anyone over some lake! It would really wear out and defluffify my wings, and trust me that it is really exhausting to fluff my wings back to proper shape after they've been defluffified. Let's go straight.

Hi I'm a Noibat.

Did you just say main dragon? I'll be the team's side dragon then.
***rolls eyes***
Such a disgrace to dragons.
I thought you said you were bat type
Also we should listen for the banging noise to decide the path that is the most optimal the dripping sound leads to something with water and the up path will clearly lead us back to the clearing so could someone with good hearing listen for the banging noise before any decisions are made

I..I think we should go straight. Up could probably lead back into the forest, and I don't really like the dripping sound.

Objectively, we could all go in different directionss though.

I'm not sure that's the best idea...

How about we use the statue? Whoever has it, see if the amount of light emanating from it changes when you point it or take it a few steps down each path!
