Well, I'm certainly not going back down that mountain! Let's go to that potential outcropping - there really isn't any other options.
PP2607.png
And you should all probably follow, because I'm taking this flame with me.

@Keeper of Night Mitsh will go to the outcropping.

Bagon, dear, being good at jumping off cliffs head-first isn't quite the same thing as being an all-powerful force of destruction..
*finds nearest large rock and crushes it to gravel by head butting it*
I'm sure this neat little trick could work on metal too dear

@Keeper of Night I'll also take a look around to see if there's anything interesting around the outcropping

Our goal is to climb the tallest mountain, but first we need shelter because it's cold and Spoinks were made to be free, not refrigerated! *spoink spoink spoink*

Rock remains intact to unceremonious results. It was not very effective.
I sure hope Bagon is okay.... I say: "Are you okay dear?"

Its steel-hard head can shatter boulders. It longingly hopes for wings to grow so it can fly.
Its well-developed neck muscles and ironlike head can smash boulders into pieces.
Umm try again sweetie the pokedex confirms I can destroy boulders by head butting it dear

Ooh, how very impressive. You can break a rock. Such awe-inspiring devastation.

599.png
... It isn't quite, well, tearing open a deathly maw that threatens to devour us all in the face of the earth itself, but I understand you're doing your best. ^.^

....sarcasm? :x

Well, sarcasm is something you need to know, lest you do something that will unload tonnes of cold, freezing snow on you, knocking you out and burying you, completely unable to breathe.

Then you die.

The lesson is that if you do not know sarcasm, you die.

Seriously, guys, can we try to stop him from hitting his head in hard places? every time he does that, he starts talking about this pokedex thing; that's a concussion if I've ever seen any.

I feel like the teacher of the "Special group" in princess school now. So much inbreeding.

Are you implying that my sister is my mother? I am apauled by the thought of such an implication I was born perfect from the start hardest head of all bagon (no I wasn't stupid my head was literally just the hardest) and I have never gotten a concussion
The pokedex is the name of a web browser if you've never heard of it check your nearest PC and do some research on bagon and you'll find out many things such as: we are described as a "bundle of muscles" our heads are as hard as steel we are also very aggressive.
Never say I have a concussion again I don't and will never have a concussion and never doubt my rock jumping cliff diving capability it is an insult to how strong my head is and is a very rude insult amongst us bagon.

"Web browser"? "PC"? What is this demonic gobbledygook? Great, is Bagon speaking in tongues now? Ugh, as if we didn't already have enough to worry about, like keeping a big round pearl balanced on top of my big round head while bouncing up a steep mountain in a thunderstorm, or the difficulty of knitting when I have no fingers.

'Ey, take a chill pill guys. And stop arguing over your PokeDex entries or whatever because not only does that not exist here, but if I took every tiny detail from the Pokemon universe seriously, a lot of rules would be rendered useless. Even a game needs to follow some kind of standardized rule set.

Updating.

@Keeper of Night I shall float to the highest peak.
@Keeper of Night I want to run ahead of the pack and then use Fissure away from the other party members (this oughta be good).
Klink and Celever attempt to run off from the group.
Suddenly, the wind begins to pick up, blowing snow across the mountain. Phanpy is forced back to the group. Klink's gears began to freeze, and he is forced to stop his ascent.

Well, let's @Keeper of Night take you to that outcropping, and I'll just, stay out here a little longer.
@Keeper of Night Mitsh will go to the outcropping.
I suggest we go for the outcropping - and it has to be all of us. So, let's go! We've got quite a few people who can provide heat. @Keeper of Night
@Keeper of Night Sure let's go to the outcropping.
@Keeper of Night I'll also take a look around to see if there's anything interesting around the outcropping
The group quickly decides to take shelter ahead, and though the weather had begun to worsen, they were able to drag themselves into the covering.

The opening was just deep enough for the Pokemon to be protected from the howling wind outside.
There was nothing immediately outstanding about the cave they were now in. The walls were bare, the floor was empty, and it was completely dark save the light of their allies.
Perhaps all they could do now was wait until morning.

---

The sun began to rise, slowly filtering into the small cave the group was currently settled inside. The weather had mostly cleared, leaving a few clouds overhead.

As the group stood outside the cave, they heard a loud sound from beneath them. Another roar? From underground? At the foot of the hill? It was impossible to say for now, but it didn't sound far. I love asking questions.
...Maybe it would be best to keep moving.

What's that? You need a 2-D view of the side of what you're climbing? You got it!
qXpenbv.png
Roughly, each level you progress (including where you currently are) forward may or may not have things worth sticking around on to find or discover.
But that sound is going to be getting closer. Spend your time wisely.

You know what would make the mountain easier to climb? If it disappeared ^w^

can I use Fissure again please
