Dusk Mane Necrozma is the first Pokémon I'm looking at from the Ultra Prism expansion. It's no secret that this set provides a ton of Metal support. Unfortunately, we're not getting the new Solgaleo GX until March, so Dusk Mane Necrozma will have to do until then. With that said, I still think Dusk Mane Necrozma is incredibly strong, especially with support from cards like the new Magnezone and Mt. Coronet, and can effectively utilize Prism cards like Solgaleo. Here is my list:
Pokemon - 14
3 Dusk Mane Necrozma GX
3 Magnemite (The one with the ability that prevents damage while on the bench)
1 Magneton
3 Magnezone
1 Solgaleo Prism
1 Oranguru
2 Tapu Lele GX
Trainers - 34
4 N
3 Professor Sycamore
3 Guzma
3 Cynthia
2 Brigette
4 Ultra Ball
3 Rare Candy
2 Field Blower
1 Rescue Stretcher
1 Pal Pad
2 Choice Band
3 Float Stone
3 Mt. Coronet
Energy - 12
12 Metal Energy
3 Dusk Mane Necrozma - Main attacker, obviously. I think the fourth copy isn't needed but could be wrong.
3-1-3 Magnezone - Similar to how Tapu Bulu GX runs a 3-1-3 line of Vikavolt, I felt that a 3-1-3 line was sufficient enough. I think you could try different counts, like running a 3-0-3 line and adding in a fourth Rare Candy, but I like running at least one Magneton in case I come across Espeon EX.
Solgaleo Prism - Primarily included because of it's first attack, which can accelerate up to 6 Metal Energy from your discard pile if your opponent has a full bench. If you're in a pinch, it's second attack hits for nice numbers with either a Choice Band (190) or Fighting Fury Belt (170) so it could come in handy, but mainly we're running it for it's first attack.
1 Oranguru - Having an option against late-game N is always good. Not the best draw supporter, but it's quick and easy to get on the bench.
2 Choice Band/Fighting Fury Belt - I'm up in the air about which one is better. Choice Band allows Dusk Mane Necrozma to OHKO everything, while Fighting Fury Belt gives it extra HP and still allows it to OHKO everything that has 230 HP or lower. At the moment I'm leaning towards Fighting Fury Belt.
Everything else is self-explanatory. If you have any suggestions or comments, let me know! I think this will be a fun deck to run!
