Let's say my gengar has an unown g on it and my opponent's dusknoir uses night spin on me, can I attack with 2 or less energies? Well, my guessing is no, since the effect lies on dusknoir not my protected gengar
The effect of night spin works if I have 2 or less energies attached. So if I attach a third energy during my turn, can I attack? I think so yes since the attack says 'if your opponent has 2 or less energy cards during your opponent's next turn', not immediately after you attack.
