Playing ZPST
So… I wake up at 7:30 and get my favorite breakfast… Peanut Butter on toast with some juice. I play some PTCGO matches while I eat. I take a shower and get dressed. I still have some time to spare, so I played some original NES Super Mario Bros.(Yeah, I’m old skool.) Finally 10 am rolls around and I get ready to head to Dream Wizards.
When the roster goes up, i see there are 44 Masters(Correct me if I’m wrong.) This means kicker of Top 4 will get Championship Points. So, get my deck checked and I’m ready to go.
Round 1: Trever w/ a Psychic, Dark deck
I get set up very fast and just take easy KO’s with Tornadus.

Round 2: Jacob L. w/ Yanmega/Magnezone
I set up fairly quickly and him likewise. I really don’t remember a lot about this game other than that in the end, the prize count was 1-2, His board was Yanmega with nothing, Yanmega with 90 and a Kingdra. I have a tornadus w/ DCE, zekrom, cleffa with 20 and a Pachi. He catchers my pachi and judges. I draw: Junk arm, Juniper, Pluspower, Lightning and Catcher. Catcher the yanmega with 90, attach to tornadus and junk arm for switch.

Round 3: Michael P. with ZPST
I got a slow ish start and he got a mediocre start. In the end, I was unprepared for the mirror and fall behind.

Round 4: Anson R. w/ Lanturn/Zoroark/Yanmega
I start fairly well and him likewise. However, he prizes all of his Lanturns and falls behind quickly. I take full advantage of catchers and he was unable to mount a comeback. GG

Round 5: Tatiana M. w/ Reshiphlosion
We both start fairly well, but in the end, with a 1-1 prize count, I top deck a catcher and Hurricane her Tyrouge for game.

Round 6: Westin L. w/ Stage 1’s
I start very fast and he starts mediocre. In the end catchers make the game very easy for me. GG Westin!

I make Top 4 in 3rd Place.

Game 1: This game was interesting to say the least. Lots of Dual Ball and SSU heads from him, and tails from me. However, my amazing top- decks got me the game.

Game 2: He gets to go first, but I believe I opened with Tornadus and Zekrom, so there was no way he could donk me. In the end, I really just outsped him again.

Game1: Pretty much the same as Game 1 in Top 4, I outspeed and it’s a easy game.

Game 2: Once again, my opponent misses out on the donk because of me starting with Tornadus and Zekrom. However, he does out speed me in this one and gets the game.

Game 3: In this game I miss the donk because I whiffed on the 3rd energy I needed. However, I got a great start and going first helped a lot. I out speed him in the end and win thanks to having the junk arm in hand and being able to catcher his shaymin on the bench and hurricane it.

So I get first place with a final record of 7-1!
It was a really fun day. I got to meet a few new people, got some good trades in and finally won my first tournament as a Master!
Props: Winning, ZPST, good luck, trading for 40-some codes(Thanks SWD and Gliscor!), getting Wendy’s for lunch, Victory Cup being worth like $60, Pulling 3 Catchers out of my 4 Packs, first tourney win as a master!
Slops: Not knowing how to play the mirror in round 3, having a massive headache after we left( we didn’t leave til 8 PM!!!)
