There are 2 focuses of the deck that take place in order of their importance. Your first priority being Ampharos from HGSS, its Acceleration Bolt attack costs a single Electric Energy in order for you to place 2 Basic Energy from your deck on any pokemon you have in play. Obviously you'll want to use this as much as possible placing energy on Electivire FB and Magnemites. Electivire FB LvX 's Power Spark should hit like truck by the time your done, and with Ampharos's single energy retreat, a knock out shouldn't be much of a problem. The back up plan, should Electivire fall, is Magnezone prime. All that Stockpiled energy should be enough to KO anything your opponent throws at you. The Stormfront Magnezone is there for its Super Connectivity PokePower, so you can get back any energy you got rid of for Engineer's Adjustments or from retreating pokemon. I've tested this deck against several mainstream decks and it works magnificently in several Match-ups. My only problem is that sometimes I get a horrible starting hand which is why I've teched in Sableye, but I am looking to get them out.

tech in a lanturn prime, cuz attaching more energy onto your pokemon will make Lanturn hit super hard too, and since it can make itself into a water type, it'll hit fire decks harder.

This deck doesn't have much of a problem against fire decks. It's biggest threat is Machamp. Find something to be able to get rid of it.

using acceleration should let you get enough energy on the field to make Lanturn prime OHKO a machamp. and Sunyshore city gym (which should be in EVERY electric deck) will make Ampharos last longer against machamp. then magnezone your opponent once lanturn is KO'd.

I'm not trying to turn your deck into the Lamps deck I just posted, I promise.

Well, Electivire FB does the same amout of damage, and that would just be using up space. Plus, you can Energy Gain a Vire FB to attack faster(although it is probably not needed). Trust me, I like the idea, but Electivire takes care of it, and Lanturn belongs in its own deck.

I would take out a pokedex. Maybe copycat too. Copycat helps you once, where as the stadium turns an autoloss vs donphan to an even playing field. I run 3 in my electric deck..
