Discussion Eevee Evolution Prime

Well, was just wondering if anyone has dabbled in a Eevee only deck. I tried one with the following cards(ONLINE) :

4 Eevvee (SM)
2 Espeon GX
2 Umbreon GX

I must add I also have 2 Drampa, and 3 trubbish / garbador (both types). Oh and a Oranguru

8 PSYCHIC energy
8 DARK energy
4 DCE

Tools consist of dumbbells, wishful baton, exp share and choice bands. Energy retrieval, N, ETC.

What, in a way, would it take to add 2 Sylveon GX to the mix. Good or bad ? Maybe 4 Fairy energy ?

You have WAY too much energy in this deck. Think about it this way, you can only play one energy per turn right? What good would it do you to have say... 5 or 6 energies in your hand? What happens if you draw Sycamore afterwards and your entire hand is full of energies? That's the best case scenario, you could potentially just keep drawing energies since they are literally a third of your deck.

You also have Garbotoxin Garbodor? This could shut down your ability to evolve your own eevee, so it seems like its a card you would only play once you get set up, which may be difficult considering your list. You should really consider adding Tapu Lele. You would at least have the option to search for your sycamores and N's.

How many dumbbells, wishful baton, exp share and choice band are you running? You would need to have counts that matter and for most of these, you would want 4 of each. If that's the case, then lets say you have 16 tools alone from what you just mentioned. That's 36 cards in your deck that may not necessarily help you if you draw into them.

I would suggest focusing on one eeveelution line to maxamize your results. I get the idea of wanting to play multiple eeveelutions, but this would only be possible if you could use rainbow energy to evolve eevee. Unfortunately, eevee requires basic energy to be attached in order to evolve.

I am running 4 dumbells ,3 wishful. This is far from a competitive deck that's why I run it online . Like I said fun , not trying to reinvent the wheel. Just going to try to lower the energy counts. Possibly 6 of each.
You are correct. My initial 7 are very iffy. Always hoping for the minimum 1 eevvee.
