Eevee MD vs. Eevee BET

In case you haven't checked the Bonds to the End of Time spoilers yet, there will be a new Eevee in the set. This Eevee lets you search your deck for up to 2 cards that evolve from Eevee and put them into your hand.

Eevee MD lets you search out your deck as many Eevee as you want put them onto the Bench....

As you can see, both Eevees are quite useful to an Eeveelutions Deck. The question now is....which one is better?

That is what I want you, the people of PokeBeach, to discuss in this thread.

I personally think Eevee MD is better, as it can prevent a donk, but feel free to debate this.
 
Eevee BET, as it can use Call energy. Getting your evolution cards is a free Bebe's.
 
Oh, wow, I completely forgot about Call Energy.

More like 2 Bebe's if you ask me. It can get 2 Eeveelutions, not just one.
 
Oh right. Not to mention Roseanne's Research will do that for you as well.
 
Unown G and Call Energy can always help in preventing donks. This Eevee gives Eeveelutions a much bigger T2 opportunity.
 
Wow, I didn't even know there'd be a new Eevee. Now that Eevee doesn't need Multi anymore (most variants don't focus on attacking with different Eeveelutions) it can easily throw in 4 Call. Eevee BET all the way, I suppose.
 
^Neoteny is a good power though and I think it's quite playable. So there would still be a demand on multi energy. The new eevee is better for a neoteny deck.
 
i'd go with 3 eevee evo-search and then one fill bench, just in case you needed all the eevee's out ASAP.
 
I was personally thinking of something along those lines, Elekid. How can you completely pass up the chance to get all four Eevee on T1?
 
I don't see the point. Call energy not only gets around effects of not being able to attack (e.g. asleep), but it gets out a total of three, just one short of a whole family.
 
^And when you get the occasional bad start, what are the chances of you starting off with that one Eevee?
 
IDK... it's just nice to have a little insurance. i could even go 3-1 MD-BET just because you get the BET one as well so next turn you start hitting. BET eevee allows for faster set-up though, which is nice.
