So Eevee's poke-power allows you to search your deck for an eeveelution that matches the type of energy you attach to him, since this counts as evolving my friend claimed that you can't use its ability on the turn you put him on the bench. Is this true?

As for Espeon with solar suggestion, would a pokemon who wasn't affected by attacks or prevent damage be able to have damage counters moved onto them?

Regarding Eevee: The rules state that you can't evolve a Pokemon on the same turn you play it by the regular means. If you use a card effect to evolve a Pokemon, you can do that whenever you wish. You can use Energy Evolution Poke-Power just so long as you fulfill its requirements.

Regarding Espeon: If a Pokemon has effects of attacks prevented to it, you cannot move any damage counters on to it. You need to move them to someone else.

In future, also post the card scans of the cards you're referring to, as it saves time from us having to look them up. Thanks!
