I posted this a while back, but no one responded to it because this was before the Alternate Formats forum. Maybe now people would actually care
I need help as far as Trainer choices. I don't have as much knowledge as I would have liked on all of the broken Trainers that existed before Supporters were created. Is there anything I can use for a bit of Trainer-baised draw? Until I get a Claydol set up, It's hard to get the exact cards I need, and if I start with a hand that doesn't have a chance of getting Claydol, I'm at the mercy of top-decking a Supporter, of which I run seven real ones. And of course, general advice is also apprieciated.

This is an idea I came up with during the MD-AR rotation. The basic strategy is to hit light and cheap taking advantage of Weakness to deal decent damage for minimal investment. With its type diversity, this deck can take almost anything an Unlimited meta can throw at it.
First and foremost, the most important card: Eevee. What makes this card crucial to this deck is his PokePower. Whenever you attach an energy to Eevee, you search your deck for a Pokemon that evolves from Eevee that is the same type as the energy you attached. That means if you attach a Blend energy, you can get out Jolteon and Vaporeon, and if you attach a Rainbow, you can get out any Pokemon that evolves from Eevee!
Jolteon is the primary (and I use the word "primary" very lightly) attacker. Jolteon from Dark EXplorers does 60 for one energy with Electrogun. It OHKO's Empoleon with a Plus Power and things like Tornadus. Raw damage for the few instances you can't take advantage of Weakness. And since 60 kills just about every evolving Basic, you could easily use Espeon ex's ability, Devo Flash, to devolve something on your opponent's bench (Hydreigon, Blastoise, etc.) and Catcher it up to ensure the KO. The catch is you have to discard a {L}, or it only does 20.
Vaporeon can snipe anything with damage for 60 provided you evolved it this turn or used his ability. Use Jolteon ex's ability, Evolutionary Thunder, to put one damage counter on each of your opponent's Pokemon, and your opponent's entire Bench is now a target. It also offers some mobility, being able to devolve itself for a more favorable Pokemon or just to take advantage of Eevee's free retreat with Skyarrow.
Leafeon has synergy with Flareon ex's power, Evolutionary Flame, which provides two special conditions, Burn and Confusion, for Leafeon's Miasma Wind. That's 100 damage, which OHKO's Terrakion EX! Plus, if i comes down to it, Leafeon's good for a sleep stall.
This deck has pretty good coverage of the types, but I'll admit there's a huge hole in type coverage. Maybe you've noticed; I can't hit {L}, {D}, or {C} for Weakness. With Eels and Darkrai dominating the meta (maybe not Eels so much anymore, but still), I need something {F} to help with those matchups. I've tried 2-2 Donphan Prime, but I'd really like to only devote one slot to a counter.
