So, this is my first tournament report, and this is my first time winning a Victory Medal.
My day takes it start at 8 AM. Didn't sleep well last night, felt groggy/under the weather as heck, and was unprepared. I had to play at a Football game for band the previous night, and just honestly felt like going back to sleep. Regardless, I got up, made decklists for the family, prepared for the day and took off. Come 9:15-ish A.M., I was at our local hobby league store, decklist and deck ready for action. I was hoping to give my Jumpluff deck the much needed win it deserved.

So I get my deck checked, and play a bit of Mario Kart DS to calm my mind, and to get in the zone. Here goes:
Round 1. Jumpluff Vs Rampardos Donk
So my opponent starts the game and ultimately fails to donk. He is left out with a Skull Fossil and Relicanth SV. I go second, get a T1 Jumpluff, and mass attack the skull fossil. Next turn, my opponent benches Uxie, and saves himself from being finished with mass attack. He eventually gets a Rampardos going, but not until I have a 3 prize lead with Shaymin Lv X set up. Basically, Mass attack continues to ohko him from weakness, and I take my 6 prizes quickly.
Record: 1-0
Round 2. Jumpluff vs Blastoise/Floatzel
Not much to say this round. Being a naturally slower deck, I am quick to take a lead. My opponent cannot get set up, and really it's just me taking almost continuous prizes.

Round 3. Jumpluff vs Luxchomp
This is the match I'd been fearing, and for good reason. I get an awful start of Unown Q and Hoppip, with only hope to draw into something. Luxchomp rips straight through me, and makes a mockery of me. I take my first loss of the day, and a shot straight through my confidence.
Record 2-1.
Round 4. Jumpluff vs Jumpluff (+other techs)
So I knew that we would only have enough Masters for a top 2, and that I had to pull this match off. So I square off against one of our newer players, who is still new to the game. She had Beautifly and Bellossom thrown into her deck, so her Jumpluff deck ran a little bit slower. Nonetheless she manages to set it up, and we just exchange Prizes through the game. Knocking out a Belted Jumpluff ultimately spelled out my victory. I have to give Shaymin Lv X props, as that +40 hp boost really gave me the 1 up in this match. I end up winning 3-0 prize wise.
Record 3-1.
Standings are announced, and I'm in second place! Top cut was top 2, and it's me vs Luxchomp. I was honestly nervous for this matchup.

Game 1: This game starts out pretty even. I am able to set up Shaymin Lv X, a Jumpluff, and 2 Sunfloras. Shaymin's existence is short lived, and gets sniped quickly. This game was drug out, and for a long duration, we exchanged prizes. I barely pull off a win Mass Attacking his Luxray GL Lv X.
I take the first win.
Game 2: Luck comes around, and this time the Luxchomp deck gets an awful hand. This game was fast paced, and I took my prizes pretty quickly. He was able to set up Dialga G Lv X, rendering Shaymin Lv X useless. This doesn't stop me and as he knocks out a Jumpluff, I am able to replace it through Sunshine Grace. Ultimately I win this game, and the Battle Roads.
Overall Record, 4-1 and 1st Place!
