so i thought about this..... and crapped my pants

move ur opponents energy around with smoochum and hit for 50 with electivire. simple enough. any chances?
 
That would work great if you can get the cards in the first few turns. c: You would just have to watch out for full out sniper decks. Worse case scenario, your opponent in the first 3 turns already has an Electrivire set up, and you don't get Electrivire and Smoochum until later(or worse, Smoochum is in your prize pile). Their already set up Electrivire can easily take out the one setting up in bench. Pokemon Circulator would be a big help.

Also if the opponent has one of those pokepowers that lets them keep flushing energies on their pokemon every turn, then this wouldn't be that effective, unless they run out of energies in their hand.

And if Smoochum was your only basic pokemon in your hand on first draw, and you don't get to go first, there's a high chance it could be knocked out from your opponent's turn since they went first.

That's an epic combo. XD I really want to see it work, but I'm skeptical because so many people are running SSU/Seeker/Shaymin UL and Unown Return. You could try it though, doesn't require much set up at all.
 
Your Energy attachment MUST come from Pachirisu/Shaymin if that's the case, since three Lightning Energy will take ages to setup. Problem is as festizzio said, Shaymin UL, Seeker, Unown Return, and SSU could help remove the Energy attached to that Pokemon. The deck also has some problems against Serperior decks. Good find, though.
 
thanks thanks.this all makes sense. i mite just for the fun of it make it super crazy and add some amphoros prime so they are hurt by their energy and then hurt even more. i do see that smoochem would screw me over 1st turn but i would hav more basics in the deck like pachirisu and shaymin. and i wouldnt hav any trouble putting in some vileplumes or something to block ssu and stuff. this will take a while to make. i mite wait for another set to come out to see what i can think of.
 
I don't think smoochum would work very well. Reshiboar runs lots of energy, gengar prime can OHKO it (or just hurl it), machamp prime auto-gets all the fighting off the active, donphan only needs 1 energy, magnezone can discard off any poke, tyranitar can kill it with darkness howl in 1 hit (w/ special dark)...

If there was a card that let you attach energy from your opponents discard pile to your opponents pokemon, then this deck would be very powerful. If Smoochum's attack was actually a power, or on a better pokemon (ambipom g), then it would be better.
 
well i want to make this hgss up but i mite make a MD on up version 1st. in that case i would use tentacruel for LA

Do not make this deck MD-on. As long as we still have Bronzong G in the format, he will make Smoochum useless. Plus, Electivire is easy bait for Machamp, Donphan, and Promocroak.

With Garchomp C Lv.X in the format, he also makes your spread useless.
