Ruling Electrode Question? just to be sure

Electrode Card

If i use "Ion Blast" and KO Electrode on my turn using his attack, am i able to use his PokePower "Energy Shift"

i've read the card and i just can't believe its right....

Of course. Electrode does 100 damage to itself, which koes it. Anytime a pokemon is koed, the opponet draws a prize (unless something prevents the ko or a power or body or effect says otherwise).

ya, Electrode was errata'd to say that when it gets KOed by an attack. The opponent will draw a prize cause of the self inflicted damage for a KO, but instead of discarding ELectrode, you attach it to a pokemon

use ion blast or be KOed
opponents gets prize
you attach electrode as energy to one of your pokemon

simple as that...
