Has anyone tried to use the FEAR tactic (low-leveled 'mon with focus sash, endeavor, and priority move) on the Elite 4? If so, does it work?
Also, what Pokémon is the best for using FEAR? I know a Kangaskhan with Scrappy would be necessary for Cynthia's Spiritomb, but otherwise, does it really matter which FEAR Pokémon is used?
Yeah, it is cheap. I'm just curious as to if there's a really easy way to beat the E4 (besides cheating, of course :p).
 
It would work on the elite for, but still a rather inefficient strategy. A a slot on your team, and a max revive/revive + super potion for one K.O? Might as well put in someone who can do more damage to the opponent before wasting recourses.
 
Actually you could use Clefable/Clefairy/Cleffa with Magic Guard for FEAR, but sadly does not get a priority move. Also Focus Sash can only be used once, and will disappear after use. So you would need like a lot of Focus Sashes.
 
Yeah, you would, but it wouldn't be that tough (between-game trading).
But this needs a priority move. Corsola and Swinub can BOTH be good FEAR 'mons, and arent countered by Sandstorm. So now I'm really interested in making this team of 5 Corsola and 1 Kangaskhan... hmm...
