• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

So obviously, heavy damage quickly with Reshiram until that option fails.
Darmanitan for 100 per heads on Mewtwo's (I get the feeling that everybody has at least 1 in their decks.. I for one am a cheapskate and don't play on spending $60 for a card..)

no energy search cards in your list? come on your reshiram ex needs 3-4 energy cards to work. with that list i foresee energy droughts.

this is like the third list here that i've seen with little energy search cards. where are you guys getting your list?!

in all my years of playing pokemon competitively, rarely do i ever need energy searches.
you have to consider, 14 energy is nearly 1/4 of a 60 card deck...
surely i can get an energy 1 or 2 in my starting hand, oaks new theory or via another hand replenish supporter and get 1-2 more energies. i've never had an energy problem lol..

-2 heavy ball (you already have a maxed out communication or -some communication.

+1 fisherman

I find fisherman to be very helpful. You can power up a reshuram right after one dies

seriously, have you ever played a reshiboar deck before?

ive been heavily playtesting reshiboar ex using cilan is the consistent and best way to go. we have almost the same amount of energy. dont rely on the luck based draw of oak's and juniper. it doesnt always give you the number of energy that you need to power up your pokemon. why dont you playtest your list and try it with then afterwards incorporate 4 cilan and see which is more consistent.

you dont even have switch nor fisherman. if they catcher your unenegized pokemon or worse your emboar up your screwed.

good luck with that list. it is obvious you havent thought much about the ins and outs of running an emboar deck.

it's not an exact of what I'm using right now, it is just a test i ran a few times last night.
hence why i posted the list on this website to seek advice.

what's the reasoning behind the -4 hammer?
 
It doesn't fit that well into this deck as well as others in my opinion. And I also think that junk arm and catcher are needed in this deck a lot.

okay ill test these changes, still waiting on a few actual cards to come in the mail..
proxies ftw.

catchers are too hard to come by for me, i dont wanna pay the $ for them
and nobody has them for trade that i know of. also pretty hard to trust people over the internet. i got scammed last time :/
 
well, a substitute though not nearly as good would be pokemon revearsal. You can use that instead of catcher.
