RSE/FRLG Emerald: "The internal battery has run dry!"

hey!

This morning i took my emerald from my closet again and i had the error ''The internal battery has run dry! you can still play but clock events will not occur anymore'' or something...

Does this mean i cant migrate to my pokemon diamond anymore?
Is there anyway to fix this problem BUT trying to set another battery into emerald?

Please help!

You can still migrate to Gen 4 games. Tough luck. Clock events won't happen anymore, like the guy in Mossdeep City that gives berries for example. This happened in my Pokemon Sapphire, so I know a bit about it.

From what I have heard, you can still replace the internal battery, but it won't fix the clock, not unless you restart the game, which kinda sucks.

Migrating Pokemon to Gen 4 games has nothing to do with Emerald's clock, since the "6 Pokemon per 24 hours" rule goes off of the DS's clock.

Man, Emeralds are finally running out of juice? The Rooftop Sale is a necessity of the game imo.
