Ruling Energy Exchanger

Hi there!

Guys, I need help… again. The wording on the Energy Exchanger trainer card from Undaunted expansion evoke a question inside me. Is there a possibility to exchange special energy cards, too? E.g. I have [L] energy in my hand. I will play E. exchanger and put the energy on top of my deck. Then I will search my deck for DCE and shugffle my deck. Or vice versa. Possible or not?

Yes, you are allowed to search for Special Energy cards with energy exchanger. The card simply says to choose "an Energy card" from your hand, put it on top of your deck and search your deck for "an Energy card," add it to your hand, and shuffle your deck. Special Energy cards are Energy cards, of course, and Energy Exchanger does not specify either Basic Energy or Special Energy, so you can exchange them in any combination. Basic for Special, Special for Basic, Special for Special, etc. All energy cards apply.
