Ruling Energy question

Where do energy cards go after your pokemon gets knocked out?

They get discarded just like the pokemon.

If any of the energy cards say that they go back into your hand then they go into your hand and can be used again. Otherwise they go into the discard pile like Pokemon and trainer cards as Master of the six kings posted above.

^Of course, the only Energy card that says that is Recycle Energy, so that post there was pretty meaningless? xD

There could be more cards like that one in the future. Not that there won't be but it may happen.
