Ruling Energy Switch on special energy

I know that crushing hammer works on DCE because when its attached it counts as two basic energies, so does that means I can use energy switch on DCE or a Special darkness energy?

Energy Switch only works on basic Energy cards. DCE and the special Darkness Energy are both Special Energy cards, so Energy Switch can't be used to move them.

Your mistake lies in the thinking that DCE provides basic Energy. Crushing Hammer looks to discard "Energy", that is, any card which provides Energy. DCE is a Special Energy card that provides Energy, making it a valid target for Crushing Hammer.

It might have helped to post the scan of Energy Switch.

It clearly says move a Basic Energy and Special Energy are not Basic, so they can't be moved.

Crushing Hammer can discard a Special Energy because it only says "discard an Energy." It doesn't specify.
